The wanderer's Pondering

Sun Nov 8, 2009, 11:00 PM
  • Mood: Artistic
  • Listening to: Watts local- royal crown revue
  • Reading: nothing but health care expenditures
  • Watching: ?How does one read and watch?
  • Playing: life
  • Eating: i'd like to say pink tacos
  • Drinking: if you don't stop asking me these questions
That night I sat staring out at the city thinking about what she had told me. The darkness enveloping me, drowning out the myriad of facial expressions that came as I stumbled upon several different hypothesis. Her meaning was not profound but it brought with it so many variables to contemplate.
Perched high above the city streets away from the madness stewing in the dark alleyways. Watching the lights from the swarming lines of the cities lifeblood pulse I became distracted wondering what attraction such unrestricted anarchy held for me. It dawned on me as I noticed a metermaid in the planetarium parking lot stalking the past due vehicles like a bored shark circling it's prey in preperation. It was that very chaotic essence that drew me in. Nothing in these streets could be pre-calculated. It was the anticipated energy of the sudden unpredictability the city offered me when I walked it's streets. The concrete under my feet holding memory of every sensational event before me. It was as if the city would share it's energy with me as I melded into it with each step. This had become my home, not this city but this lifestyle. She was nothing more
then a trigger, jolting my senses to reality as I caught sight of the truth.
Rising from my perch atop this mountain encompassed by city at it's feet trying to claw up in attempts to claim it's peak. I permited myself one last long look upon the city that had inspired me. With a new breath and a content feeling of having found a purpose it was time to begin my never ending journey to once again find a suitable home amongst the energy of the masses. One that could instill me with the same kind of robust energy that I seemed to absorb from this desert oasis. This could never be my home and I knew why, the world was too busy calling to me to allow my the chance to settle.

This year, venture off the beaten path and dare to take risks. It’s better to fly and fall than to never have flown at all.

the hands in the 16th chapel.
How could you not be in love with that piece.
I liked your focus though everyone else wants to pull in the corners of the chapel which I don't know, I feel it takes away from the awe that you get from the concept of the piece. Very nice focus
